Artificial Intelligence Future

It is the humans who do the forecasting of artificial intelligence future. Still, it is unrealistic for artificial intelligence agents to think of their own future. I’m sure that giving the ability to the robots to think of their future is one of the future plans of the field of AI (artificial Intelligence).

Natural language processing and speech recognition are two fundamental fields under highlight and the best candidates for advances in artificial intelligence future. Since speech recognition has been around us for sometime, it is not an alien subject for us. Even the word processor released by Microsoft, MS Word has a built-in speech recognition program. According to the leading scientists, the developments in speech recognition will level the humans with in next 10 years. In next 10 years, the computers or robots will be able to communicate with the humans with unstructured English under the programs for artificial intelligence future.

In addition to that, learning has been one of the other domains where the scientists are optimistic about when it comes to artificial intelligence future. With the developments of machine learning, the machines are expected to analyze and understand things by their own, so they can be adapted to any foreign environment. As an example, imagine sending robot to Mars. The robot should be able to navigate in the new surroundings with no foreign help and then adapt to it. Then the robot should be able to send the scientific analysis of the new world with a fair level of opinion.

From the beginning of the domain of AI, human brain simulation and creating a silicon brain have been two fantasies of the AI scientists. Once this target is achieved, the artificial intelligence future will be brighter than ever. If everything becomes a success as planned, the software and systems can be connected to artificial brains, so the entire system becomes intelligent.

Simulating human behaviors is the primary objective of the artificial intelligence future. This simply means that the machine will have human awareness up to some level. This also support for the effort of making the machines self-aware where the current AI system fo not posses self-awareness.

In parallel to the advances of the study of artificial intelligence future, the improvements for the supporting hardware have also become a priority. It does not make sense to design and develop the most sophisticated AI systems, if the hardware layer cannot support the system for its full potential. Therefore, there are a few major computer hardware companies that closely work with AI research labs for developing custom computer hardware as expected.
