The hair removal lasers are at their most effective on people who have light skin and dark, highly pigmented hair. Hair removal lasers can be used on large areas of skin as well, like the back or legs.

There’s a warning that comes with hair removal lasers too. Even though there have been many success stories for hair removal lasers, there is also the fact that some have experienced side effects due to the procedure. Improper use of hair removal lasers can cause burns, discoloring of the skin and lesions that could last a few months. The cost of the hair removal lasers can be considered prohibitive by some, especially because it takes more than one sitting for results to be seen. Research should be done by anyone interested in using hair removal lasers to find a more long term solution to their problem.
