If you can get past the way psychics advertise online and the kind of shady approach they use, you might get great psychic advice for free. It helps if you understand the way online psychics work, so that you’re not immediately put off at their methods.
When you see an advertisement or announcement for a free online psychic reading, you may get excited. It may even say one question answered for free, or some other come on. So you enter the information, which probably consists of your email, your birth date, your name and a question.
You think you’re going to get an answer to your question back through email, for free. And while you will get some kind of answer for free, you won’t get it through email. Rather, you’ll be given a number to call to talk to a phone psychic and get an answer to your question.
This bait-and-switch tactic is a bit underhanded, but good marketing for the psychics. If you call the number, you’ll speak to a psychic who will try to get as much personal information from you as possible, like your phone number and mailing address. This is to send you advertisements later, for further marketing.
This exchange takes up a great deal of your “free” minutes speaking to the psychic. But even if you have enough left to get an answer, some psychics don’t actually answer your question. They tease you with a very vague answer but tell you that they want you to stay on the line so they can be more specific.
This is a marketing technique to turn you into a paying customer. And unfortunately, some psychics will only lead you on once you’re on the line to keep you on as long as possible, to make more money.
That’s not to say that all do nothing by try to take your money. Some online psychics do actually strive to give accurate and helpful readings.
If you’re lucky enough to find an online psychic that operates through chat or email, there’s much less of a high pressure sell to get you to go from a free psychic reading to a highly paid one. Even if not, some psychics, once you’re on the phone, will give you great free advice in a psychic reading to make a customer out of you in a legitimate way.
The best way to find the psychic you want to use is to judge them by the quality of their free information. You can tell when they’re just stalling to get you to stay on the line for a paid reading. But if the free information you get is excellent, chances are the whole reading will be good. This is when free psychic advice is worth far more than what you pay for it.
